The weekend following Tom's big catch, we motored out to meet Cosme', Pancho and Cosme's kids so that our kids could go shrimpin' too.
Cono and Sebastian are 14 and 10..they are pretty adept at hauling lines and separating fish
We motored away, leaving Colter with the shrimp boat.
On our way to do a little of our own fishing we encountered a shrimp boat of kids 14 and under totally self-sufficient.
Though Hailey wasn't willing to jump aboard with Cosme' and crew, she wanted her hand at hauling the little(and fairly) impossible net we took to the other side to cast.
Though it is pretty clear by the photos, and words may water down...I am impacted by the abilities of these young children, expectations of communities and the ways in which we( interject your own "we")may inhibit the growth with fear.
Great day!!!!
