Sunday, we found ourselves heading to one of the most hilarious rodeo's I have ever been to: Suaqui. This very small town of old adobe houses with coyote fences in the middle of the Sonoran desert hosts one of the most popula rodeos. People from all over Hermosillo County and the US travel to this very dusty town to participate or witness this fiesta.
no matter what economic bracket people came from they donned their finest boots with matching belts for the day. Everyone came looking their finest and you could tell this was a huge event for the region.
we saw these girls alot, circuling the rodeo, I don't think they ever saw the inside
We did
The place was totally packed with people crammed into spots down low (like us) sitting on the rails and up high in the bleachers. There didn't really seem to be many regulations..none actually and anybody could enter the ring anytime they wanted to. This proved to be pretty exciting.
in between bulls, there was alot of dancing...
and more bulls
if you look closely in the photo below...you will see Colter
Cheers from Suaqui, we are off to Prescott for a few days and will return next week.
The photos and info are spectacular.
What is news?
